Since 1983 David has spent many hours researching various techniques in glass designs. He is a talented glass artist by pushing his limitations to producing new structures in glass art. His technical mastery deserves respect as he is constantly researching new and challenging projects. His work is influenced by his love of Architecture, Archeology and Ancient Cultures.His Journey is arduous from just a thought to sketching to forming his unique cast moulded master pieces. All David's designs are individual and hand crafted through hand laid designs.Glass has re-emerged with a renewed energy and freshness. David can produce highly detailed and intricate creations that are expressive and complex to create.

David can create three dimensional cast glass art pieces that offer sensual lines and are frozen in time. He can incorporate any theme to within glass tolerances. David's passion is apparent in all his glass designs and he can bring out the luminous qualities that are an ever changing light show. Producing cast three dimensional art pieces is a highly technical process as when firing at high temperatures glass becomes a liquid and blowouts can occur. If this does happen you can lose the art piece altogether. Working with varying thicknesses of glass ranging from 10 mm up to 50mm it becomes more complex because of the mass you are working with.

The monitoring of such tasks can take from one week or more during a firing cycle if required on larger art pieces. Preparation to designing through to completion of all large art pieces can take up to two to three months to produce depending on size, thickness and design content.The largest single piece that can be fabricated is to within 2 metres square. Any theme can be fabricated to within glass tolerances. David enjoys the challenge of his work and says the adventure for him is to develop all the resources necessary to allow him to create spectacular glass art.
